The best Oasis events and afterparties taking place in Greater Manchester during Heaton Park gigs

The article details various Oasis-themed events and afterparties happening in Greater Manchester during the band's reunion tour at Heaton Park. It lists multiple venues hosting pre- and post-gig parties, tribute acts, and themed activities, including free entry events, DJ sets, and special offers for ticket holders.

Oasis fever grips Manchester as tribute nights, pop-ups and tram-wraps herald the Gallagher brothers’ first hometown gigs in 16 years.

From July 11 to 20, Heaton Park will host five sold-out shows that mark the end of the siblings’ 16-year estrangement, and the city is turning every bar, club and beer garden into a satellite celebration. A new mural appeared inside Afflecks this week, Metrolink carriages have been wrapped in classic album artwork, and venues as far out as Rochdale and Oldham are staging free or £3 tribute nights so no fan is left outside the party.

The biggest satellite events cluster around each 7 p.m. showtime. At The Empire in Rochdale, tribute outfit The Oasis Experience promises “every banger, all the chaos and none of the fallouts” on July 11, with free entry before 8.30 p.m. and £3 thereafter. In Oldham the same night, OASIF play Billingtons from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m.; tickets are £8.83 in advance or £10 on the door. Across town, Malmaison’s brasserie will fire up Oasis-themed DJ sets, a limited-edition burger and discounted bubbles for seatings between noon and 3 p.m. on both July 11 and 12; tables can be reserved by e-mailing [email protected].

For ticketholders and the ticket-less alike, the Northern Quarter becomes an all-day Britop strip. Pen & Pencil hosts Clint Boon for 3-6 p.m. DJ sets on every gig day, free entry. Definitely Maybe—the UK’s only permanent Oasis bar on the third floor of Afflecks—sells two-hour slots for £20 that include a bucket hat, arrival drink, live music and 10 % off merchandise. When the park gates close, the after-parties begin: Star & Garter runs until 4 a.m. with £5 entry, spinning Oasis, Beady Eye and High Flying Birds alongside Stone Roses and Happy Mondays cuts, while New Century’s official aftershows (11 p.m.-4 a.m. on July 11, 12 and 19) feature DJ turns from Bez, Mani and Clint Boon, tickets from £13.91.
