A 19-year-old man remains hospitalized with serious injuries following a violent altercation that erupted on Waterloo Street in Oldham town centre at 4:30am Saturday.
Greater Manchester Police responded to reports of a disturbance involving multiple individuals fighting in the early morning hours. Upon arrival, officers discovered the teenager had sustained significant injuries during the melee.
The victim was immediately transported to hospital for emergency treatment, where he continues to receive medical care for his wounds.
Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are urging witnesses to come forward. Police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have captured footage of the events leading up to the disturbance.
