Ron Williams, a cherished family man and Lancashire dialect poet, passed away at Fairfield General Hospital on January 9, 2025, aged 82. His funeral will be held at St. Chad's Church in Saddleworth on February 19, 2025.
Ron Williams, the Lancashire dialect poet who remained a Yorkshire man at heart, died at Fairfield General Hospital on January 9, 2025. He was 82.
Williams leaves behind his wife Sally, son David, stepchildren Andrew, Julie, Sharon and William, and grandson Max. His funeral will take place at St Chad’s Church in Saddleworth on February 19 at 11:00 am.
