A 70-year-old woman has died after being discovered unconscious with serious injuries on Waggon Road at the Oldham/Tameside border yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to the scene around 2:30pm on Sunday, where the woman was found on the road. She was transported to hospital but later succumbed to her injuries.
Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit has launched an investigation to determine how the woman came to be on the road.
