Police investigate 'shocking' stabbing incident at Oldham retail park

A 19-year-old man was stabbed at Alexandra Road retail park in Oldham, sustaining serious injuries. Police are investigating the incident, which occurred in a public space, and believe it to be an isolated incident involving known parties. No arrests have been made yet, and authorities are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage.

A 19-year-old man is being treated for serious injuries after being stabbed at Alexandra Road retail park at 3.25pm yesterday afternoon.

Police have sealed off the retail park and surrounding areas while detectives gather evidence and work to establish what led to the attack. The victim remains in hospital where he is being supported by his family.

Inspector Andrew Clayton confirmed no arrests have been made but said investigators are reviewing CCTV footage to identify those responsible. “At this stage, we do believe the attack to be an isolated incident involving those known to one another,” he stated.

Witnesses have already spoken with officers, but police are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward. Information can be passed to officers at the scene, by calling 101 quoting log 1757 of 30/03/25, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
