Former teacher Paul Price passed away peacefully after a short illness on 12th January 2025, aged 76. He was a beloved husband of the late Mary and a loving uncle and friend to many. His funeral service will be held at Oldham Crematorium on 7th February, with donations requested to Cancer Research UK in lieu of flowers.
Paul Price, the former Alexandra Park School teacher who touched countless lives in Glodwick, died January 12 following a brief illness. He was 76.
Price, who lost his wife Mary earlier, passed peacefully surrounded by the many nieces, nephews and friends who called him family. The longtime educator spent his career shaping young minds at the Glodwick school before retirement.
His funeral service and committal will take place Friday, February 7 at 10am at Oldham Crematorium in Hollinwood. The family has asked mourners to forgo flowers and instead support Cancer Research UK through donations handled by Hedley Jackson Funeral Directors at 48-52 Rochdale Road, Shaw.
