Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for information following a serious collision on Rakes Lane, Salford
An off-road bike collided with a taxi on Rakes Lane, Salford at 2:40 pm on 14 April, leaving two motorbike riders hospitalised with multiple injuries.
At around 2:40pm yesterday (Tuesday 14 April), we were called to reports of a collision where an off-road bike collided with a taxi on Rakes Lane, Salford.
Two people on the motorbike have sustained multiple injuries and remain in hospital for treatment.
The driver of the taxi remained at the scene to help with our enquires.
To help understand the full circumstances, officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are keen to speak to anyone who may have CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage of the incident or of the moments leading up to the incident.
