Mossley charity announces exciting events for 2025
Emmaus Mossley, a homelessness charity, has announced a series of events for early 2025, including a new monthly social, a cabaret fundraiser, and a spring fayre, aimed at raising funds and bringing the community together.
Emmaus Mossley has unveiled an ambitious calendar of fundraising events for early 2025, headlined by a new monthly social gathering and a Las Vegas-themed cabaret night that will bankroll renovations to the homelessness charity’s communal kitchen.
The Social Studio debuts February 6 as a first-Thursday-of-the-month fixture where participants can dive into hands-on activities designed to build community and boost wellbeing. Each session promises fresh creative projects that bring strangers together around shared making and conversation.
March brings the main attraction: Viva Las Emmaus Cabaret transforms the Mossley site into a one-night casino-style venue on March 1, starting at 7pm. Music, mocktails and entertainment will fuel the fundraiser, with every pound raised earmarked for upgrading the communal kitchen and dining room that serve residents who have experienced homelessness.
The spring push concludes March 22 with the Emmaus Spring Fayre, running 10am-4pm. The Secondhand Superstore will overflow with seasonal bargains while visitors hunt treasures, sample homemade food and enjoy family-friendly entertainment. Limited tickets for The Social Studio and Viva Las Emmaus Cabaret are available now through the Emmaus website and Eventbrite.
