Man sought after following and filming woman in Chadderton
Police in Oldham are seeking a man who followed and filmed a woman on Greenside Way in Chadderton on January 15. The suspect is described as 5ft 3 tall, with dark brown/black hair, light facial hair, and was wearing specific clothing. Authorities are appealing for witnesses or footage.
Oldham police are hunting for a man who pursued and filmed a woman on a Chadderton street in broad daylight.
The 12:15pm incident on Wednesday, 15 January, began when the woman noticed the stranger tailing her along Greenside Way. Investigators say he recorded her on his phone before walking away.
The suspect is described as 5ft 3in tall, of slight, stocky build, with dark brown or black hair and light, scruffy facial hair. He is thought to be aged between 19 and 25 and was wearing a dark-grey Canada Goose gilet over an all-black Stone Island tracksuit.
Detectives have released an image of a man they wish to question and are urging anyone who saw him or has dash-cam, CCTV or mobile footage to call 101 quoting log 2886 of 15/01/25. Information can also be submitted through GMP’s LiveChat or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
