The team at Visiting Angels Manchester East has raised £300 for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice in Royton, following the recent passing of two beloved clients, Judith and Brenda.
As owners of the home care service, Visiting Angels wanted to express its deepest gratitude to the staff at Dr Kershaw’s, who provided exceptional care and compassion during a profoundly difficult time for the families of Judith and Brenda.
The families had nothing but praise for the hospice team, and it was clear that their support made a lasting difference.
To honour this, Visiting Angels held a raffle fundraiser, with proceeds going directly to Dr Kershaw’s Hospice.
Roxie Taj, Managing Director at Visiting Angels, said: “We were kindly invited by Jill Kirkham to visit the hospice, where we witnessed first-hand the incredible work being done every day to support patients and their families.
“We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this fundraiser - especially Jodie, Badar, and the entire Visiting Angels Manchester East team.
“Your compassion and effort helped make a difference.
“We hope this small gesture goes some way in recognising the invaluable role Dr Kershaw’s plays in our community.”
