Fears grow for missing man last seen in north Manchester

Police have launched an urgent search for a 34-year-old man who vanished from his north Manchester home, with officers saying they are “increasingly concerned” for his welfare.
Duane was last spotted at 5:30pm yesterday on Blueberry Avenue in Moston, according to Greater Manchester Police. The force released a photograph of the missing man—whose surname has not been disclosed—in hopes the public can help trace him.
He is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build and with short, curly brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a white top, black shirt, black socks and navy sliders.
“Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Duane and want to make sure he is safe and well,” a GMP spokesperson said.
Police note that Duane has known connections across Manchester, as well as in Oldham and Cheadle, widening the area where he might be found.
Anyone who spots Duane or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call 101, quoting log number 2775 of 6 August 2025.
