Appeal for information after man seriously injured in Leigh collision

A man in his 30s suffered serious, life-threatening injuries after being hit by an Audi on Atherleigh Way in Leigh. The incident occurred around 9am on 26 November 2024, with the driver remaining at the scene. Police are appealing for witnesses or footage to assist their investigation.

Man in Critical Condition After Being Struck by Audi on Atherleigh Way

A man in his 30s suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning when he was hit by an Audi while crossing Atherleigh Way in Leigh. The collision occurred around 9am as the northbound vehicle traveled toward Atherton.

The pedestrian sustained multiple serious injuries and remains hospitalized in critical condition. The Audi driver stayed at the scene, and police have not made any arrests.

Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit has launched an investigation into the incident. Officers are seeking witnesses and requesting any available dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from the area around the time of the collision.
