Oldham Council road closures around Boundary Park for Latics matches
Oldham Council has ordered road closures around Boundary Park during Oldham Athletic matches after identifying public safety concerns. The closures affect Furtherwood Road, Prestbury Drive, Colville Road, Kenwood Road, Boundary Park Road, Boundary Drive and Johnstone Close. Access will be permitted for residents showing proof of address or valid parking permits. The closures began on March 24 and will affect one more home fixture against Accrington on May 2. Residents have expressed concerns about lack of prior notice and difficulties for those relying on taxis or lifts. The council says a wider consultation will take place ahead of the 2026/27 season.
