Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is seeking public assistance to locate 12 men wanted in connection with drug and firearms-related organised crime conspiracies. Many are believed to have fled abroad, with suspected locations including the UAE, Brazil, Spain, Thailand, and Dubai. The individuals are linked to various crimes such as drug supply, firearms trafficking, and money laundering. GMP urges the public to report sightings via 101, 999, or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
Police Hunt Twelve Fugitives in Major Drugs and Firearms Investigation
Greater Manchester Police are hunting twelve wanted men in connection with major drug and firearms investigations, with many suspected of having fled abroad. The appeal comes following the force’s recent appearance on Crimewatch Live, where detectives detailed their search for these individuals.
The wanted men include Hamid Hermati, 39, who police want to question about methamphetamine production and has links to Manchester, London and Iran. Zico Rothwell, 34, has already been charged with conspiracy to supply drugs but has since disappeared, with investigators believing he may have travelled to the United Arab Emirates or Brazil.
Several suspects are wanted for cocaine conspiracy offences, including Nariman Seifzadeh, 39, from Bury and Salford, and Jamal Adam Anderson, who will turn 40 in May and has connections across Manchester. Omar Najar, who turned 35 on Valentine’s Day, is wanted for conspiracy to supply cocaine, heroin and MDMA, while Bradley Dwyer, also known as Faz or Farron, is sought for large-scale drug importation and distribution.
Thomas Pride Jeffery is suspected of offering firearms with ammunition via the Encrochat platform and supplying large quantities of cocaine. Police believe he is living in Thailand working as a bodyguard, likely using false identities. Eugene Robinson has been identified as taking a leading role in orchestrating the collection and supply of multi-kilo amounts of cocaine and heroin, as well as involvement in firearms acquisition.
Detectives believe several suspects have fled the country through various routes. John Paul Joyce, wanted for crack cocaine and heroin supply, is thought to have escaped via Northern Ireland to Dublin and possibly Spain, after police found half a kilo of drugs at his home. Cory Norford, head of an organised crime group, fled after arrest and is believed to be in Dubai despite maintaining Manchester links.
Police have urged anyone who spots these men abroad to contact both local police and GMP, warning the public not to approach them. Information can be shared by calling 101 or 999 in emergencies, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
