Three suspects charged after police descend on Greater Manchester street
Three individuals, including two men and a 16-year-old boy, have been charged with various drugs offences following a police raid in the Derker area of Oldham. They are accused of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, as well as possession of criminal property. All three have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court.
Three Charged After Derker Drugs Raid
Three people have been charged following a police operation on Whetstone Hill Lane in Derker, Oldham.
Officers executed a warrant at the address on Tuesday, 7 October. Two men and a 16-year-old boy were arrested at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the suspects have since been charged with a series of alleged drugs and property offences.
James Nolan, 22, and Brendan Nolan, 20, both of Whetstone Hill Lane, appeared alongside the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
All three face counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs, and possession of criminal property.
They were remanded in custody ahead of further proceedings.
Detective Inspector Lee Newburn, of GMP’s Operation Vulcan team, urged residents to keep reporting concerns.
“If you have any issues in the Derker area, or any information you would like to pass on, please do so - we investigate every report we receive,” he said.
