Police are appealing for information after a serious crash on Talbot Road, Hyde, on December 1, 2024, which left two people with life-threatening and life-changing injuries. The vehicle collided with an industrial building's perimeter wall, causing significant damage. Emergency services attended, and the injured were taken to hospital. Two people suffered life-threatening and life-changing injuries when their car slammed into an industrial building’s perimeter wall on Talbot Road, Hyde, around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Emergency crews arrived to find the vehicle heavily damaged along its front and nearside. Firefighters from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service cut the driver and front-seat passenger free, while North West Ambulance Service paramedics treated them at the scene before rushing them to hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
Greater Manchester Police believe the car veered into the wall after travelling along Talbot Road and are urging anyone who saw the crash—or who has CCTV, dash-cam, mobile phone or Ring-doorbell footage—to come forward.
