A man has been charged after an investigation into a domestic assault in Oldham.

Joshua Tomlinson, 28, from Rhodes Top, Glossop, has been charged with a Section 18 domestic-violence-related assault in connection with an incident in October.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on 14 November 2025.

Enquiries are continuing, and officers are encouraging anyone with information or who may have experienced a similar incident to come forward.

DC Anna Pun, from GMP’s Oldham district, said:
“While we have secured a charge following an allegation of a domestic assault, we are continuing with our enquiries - and would like to know if anyone else has had similar encounters as we carry on with our work.

“This includes anyone who may have previously known the charged individual or has information that could assist the investigation.”

“We would encourage all people who are victims of domestic offences to get in touch with us - we can help you with your case and provide the appropriate support.”
