Officers would like to speak to this man following reports of indecency on Metrolink services

Police are seeking a man in connection with two incidents of indecency on the Metrolink tram network in Greater Manchester, occurring on the Oldham/Rochdale line on 14 April 2025 and between Victoria Station and Deansgate Castlefield on 15 April 2025. Police Hunt Man After Two Indecent Exposure Incidents on Manchester Trams

Greater Manchester Police are searching for a man captured in CCTV images after two separate incidents of indecency aboard Metrolink trams over the weekend. The first incident occurred on the Oldham/Rochdale line around 11:30pm on Friday, 14 April 2025, followed by a second incident the next night between Victoria Station and Deansgate Castlefield between 11:25pm and 11:40pm on Saturday, 15 April 2025.

Investigators have released images of a man they believe can assist with their enquiries into both incidents. Police are urging anyone who witnessed either incident or has information about the man’s identity to come forward immediately.

Constable Carl Kelly from the Transport Unit confirmed officers are treating both incidents with the utmost seriousness. “We are currently investigating two separate incidents of indecency that occurred on Greater Manchester’s Metrolink tram network,” he stated. “These incidents are deeply concerning, and we want to reassure the public that we take crimes of this nature incredibly seriously.”
