Police are appealing for information after a man in his 30s was seriously assaulted outside a pub on Dantzic Street in Manchester City Centre, leaving him in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Officers have released images of a man and a woman they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
Police Hunt for Witnesses After Critical Manchester Assault
A man remains in critical condition after a brutal attack outside a pub on Dantzic Street in Manchester city centre shortly after midnight on Wednesday 7 May. The victim, a man in his 30s, sustained life-threatening injuries and continues to fight for his life in hospital.
Greater Manchester Police have released images of a man and woman they urgently need to speak with as witnesses to the assault. Investigators believe these individuals could hold crucial information about the circumstances that led to the violent incident.
Detective Inspector Mark Astbury from GMP’s City of Manchester district stated: “We are continuing to investigate a serious assault which has left a man in critical condition in hospital. We are working to establish the full circumstances of the incident, and what led to it taking place. If anyone has any information, I would urge them to get in touch with us, either directly or anonymously.”
