Greater Manchester to be hotter than Ibiza this weekend as temperatures reach 21C

Greater Manchester is set to be warmer than Ibiza this weekend as the region continues to bask in spring sunshine. The Met Office forecasts clear skies and highs of 21C on both Friday and Saturday, outpacing the Spanish party island where temperatures will peak at just 17C on Saturday and 18C on Sunday.

Warm conditions will persist after days of blue skies, though overnight temperatures will drop sharply - with lows of 4C expected tonight and 6C on Saturday night. Some cloud cover is forecast from Sunday but temperatures will remain above average for the time of year, reaching 20C with overnight lows of 8C.

Hay fever sufferers should take precautions this weekend as pollen levels are forecast to be very high on Friday and Saturday, and high on Sunday.
