Man charged with six offences in relation to Ashton-under-Lyne incident
Arcenciel Jonas from Middleton has been charged with six offences including racially aggravated assault and assaulting an emergency worker following an incident in Ashton-under-Lyne on 17 April 2026. He is remanded to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court on 20 April 2026.
Arcenciel Jonas (28/08/2002) of Wood Street, Middleton has been charged with the following offences:
Racially aggravated assault occasioning actual bodily harm Assault of an emergency worker Assault occasioning actual bodily harm Racially aggravated public order offence Attempt criminal damage to property Breaching the Public Order Act
The charges relate to an incident which officers responded to in Ashton-under-Lyne on Friday 17 April 2026.
Jonas has been remanded to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday 20 April 2026).
