Man charged following death of cyclist in Altrincham
Simon Richardson has been charged with murder, manslaughter, dangerous driving, failing to stop and driving without insurance after a cyclist was fatally struck on Paddock Lane, Altrincham on 20 April. He was remanded in custody and is due at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today.
A man has been charged following a fatal collision on Paddock Lane, Altrincham on Monday 20 April at around 6:10pm.
Simon Richardson (16/05/1991), of no fixed address, has been charged with murder, manslaughter, dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving without insurance.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court today (Friday 24 April)
Officers are continuing to appeal for information as they progress their investigation.
This includes any witnesses, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from around the area at the time of the incident.
