Just FOUR-midable - the Fox and Pine pub does it again!
The Fox and Pine pub in Oldham has won the Rochdale Oldham and Bury CAMRA Branch Pub of the Year award for the fourth consecutive year, praised for its food and community spirit.
OLDHAM’S Fox and Pine has scooped a top CAMRA award for the fourth year running, landlord Chris Riley announced today.
The Greaves Street pub was voted Rochdale, Oldham and Bury CAMRA branch Pub of the Year by local members, adding to its growing collection of accolades.
Riley, who runs the cosy town-centre hostelry with wife Michelle, said: “We’re completely humbled. A massive thank-you to our staff and loyal regulars; we might just have a wee celebratory drink tonight.”
Recent years have seen the watering hole harvest a forest of CAMRA honours, including Greater Manchester CAMRA Pub of the Year.
Chris also praised Michelle’s kitchen, famed for quirky dishes such as Duck-a-Muffin pies and Steak & Bass Ale pies.
