Family Mourns “True Gentleman” Killed in Chadderton Road Rage Incident

A 50-year-old man who died following an alleged road rage incident in Chadderton has been named by police as Paul Bowles. The family of the victim described him as a “kind, loving, family man and true gentleman who always put others before himself.”

Bowles, remembered as intelligent and quick-witted with “a brilliant mind and generous heart,” will be “missed greatly by all his family and friends,” according to a family statement released through Greater Manchester Police. The family has requested privacy as they grieve.

Andrew Robson, 32, of Fold Green in Chadderton, has been charged with murder and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today. Police initially responded to reports of a fight between two drivers near the Elk Mill roundabout earlier this week. Officers continue to support Bowles’ family during this difficult time.
