Appeal after cosmetic products taken from Manchester Airport building

Police are appealing for information after a burglary at a Manchester Airport warehouse, where a large quantity of cosmetic derma fillers and products (Lumifil and Volifil brands) were stolen between 23-24 November. Two suspects (aged 28 and 33) were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and released on bail. Some items have been recovered. Authorities urge anyone offered or in possession of these products to check batch codes and report via specified channels.

Thieves broke into a Manchester Airport warehouse overnight Saturday and made off with thousands of pounds worth of cosmetic derma fillers, police confirmed.

The burglars struck between Saturday evening, 23 November, and Sunday morning, 24 November, loading cartons of Lumifil and Volifil branded products onto a truck before driving away. Officers said the haul included Lumifil MAX, KISS and LITE lines together with Volifil DEEP and SUB-Q items.

Greater Manchester Police have since arrested two men, aged 28 and 33, on suspicion of handling stolen goods and recovered a portion of the missing stock. Both suspects were released on bail while enquiries continue.

Investigators urged anyone offered the products—either privately or through commercial channels—to check the batch numbers carefully. The stolen Lumifil Max items bear codes LLX2410, LLX2409 and LLX2408; Lumifil Kiss codes are LLK2410, LLK2411, LLK2413 and LLK2412; Lumifil Lite code LLL2405; Volifil Deep codes LLP22405 and LLP22409; and Volifil Sub-q codes LLP32407 and LLP32409.

Anyone who believes they have purchased the cosmetics should call 101 or GMP’s Live Chat, quoting CRI/06II/0001752/24, phone 0161 856 0241, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
