Oldham police appeal after woman 90s hit in Failsworth
Greater Manchester Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating a collision on Albert Road West, Failsworth, occurring on Wednesday 7 January 2026. A woman in her 90s was struck by a reversing vehicle at approximately 2pm during the incident. The victim was transported to a hospital where she remains in a serious condition. Officers are specifically requesting information from anyone who saw the vehicle prior to the collision or witnessed the event. The appeal includes a request for dashcam footage or CCTV recordings of the incident. Witnesses can contact the SCIU directly quoting log 1936 of 07/01/2026.
