Festival announced in memory of much-loved Oldham musician

A day festival in memory of a much-loved Oldham musician has been announced, taking place at Whittles. Patrick O'Hare, who went by Paddy , died at the age of 48 last month, leaving behind his daughter Luna Rose and partner Gina. He was well known on the local music scene, regularly playing at gigs and venues across Oldham. Now the community is coming together to honour his memory and raise money for his young daughter. Taking place on Saturday, May 9, at Whittles on Roscoe Street, the Paddyfest event will start with an acoustic afternoon, followed by an evening of live music and DJs. The chart-topping duo from Oldham, the Two Connors, have announced their next gig in Manchester city centre. Brothers Danny and Callum rose to the top of the iTunes and UK Singles Downloads Charts at the start of the year with their single 'Familiar Faces'. Now the pair are looking to build on their success with gigs planned for the next couple of months. Most recently, the pair announced that they will be playing at Gorilla, a popular music venue on Whitworth Street in Manchester city centre.
