Oldham road closures A663 Broadway overnight works March-May 2026
Drivers in Oldham are facing two months of overnight road closures on the A663 Broadway as National Highways carries out essential maintenance work.
The closures will run from 9pm to 6am between March 23 and May 21, affecting the stretch between the A627M Chadderton roundabout and Junction 21 for the M60.
National Highways says the work includes new road markings and road studs to improve safety, with signed diversions in place during all closures.
The government-owned company has apologised in advance for any inconvenience and warned that adverse weather could affect the schedule.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra journey time if travelling during closure hours, while access for residents and emergency services will be maintained throughout.
