Oldham crash: Broadway closed, air ambulance called to Chadderton

Broadway in Chadderton has been closed in both directions this evening after a serious crash involving multiple vehicles near the Elk Mill roundabout. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 6pm on Tuesday, March 17, with eyewitnesses reporting an air ambulance hovering overhead. The incident has caused major traffic disruption in the area, with queues building between the Elk Mill roundabout and Netherhey Lane.

Fire crews from Chadderton, Oldham, and Ashton fire stations attended the collision, which involved three vehicles according to initial reports from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.
