New night buses and more frequent services coming to Oldham
Oldham gets new night buses and more frequent services to make getting around easier, especially for late-night travel.
Oldham bus passengers are getting a major upgrade with new night services and more frequent daytime journeys coming later this year.
The 83 bus route, which connects Oldham town centre with Failsworth, Hollinwood and Manchester city centre, will see the biggest changes.
Night buses will run on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, making it easier for people to get home after evenings out or for those working late shifts.
During the day, evenings and weekends, buses will run more often, cutting down waiting times for passengers.
The improvements follow passenger feedback about making bus travel easier and are part of the wider Bee Network rollout across Greater Manchester.
