Missing woman Sarah Butler last seen in Oldham
Police are urgently searching for Sarah Butler, a woman who vanished in Oldham yesterday afternoon. The 19-year-old was last spotted at 12:50pm on Thursday on Rochdale Road, a busy route that connects the town centre to nearby areas.
Greater Manchester Police have released a description of Sarah, who is white with a small, slim build and short dark hair. When she disappeared, she was wearing black trousers, a black top, and a grey bubble coat-clothing that would make her stand out in the current mild weather.
Officers say they are 'growing increasingly concerned' for Sarah's welfare and want to ensure she is safe and well. The police appeal, shared on social media, asks anyone who might have seen her or knows her whereabouts to come forward immediately.
The community is being asked to help by calling police on 0161 856 8961 and quoting log 1746 of 19/03/26. For Sarah's family and friends, every hour that passes without answers brings more worry about what might have happened to their loved one.
