A fatal crash on Broadway has closed a key Chadderton route and left multiple people injured.

A man in his 50s has died after a three-car collision on Broadway in Chadderton last night. The crash happened at the entrance to Elk Mill retail park, a busy spot where shoppers and commuters mix. Emergency services rushed to the scene, with fire crews from Chadderton and Oldham working alongside police to secure the area.

The collision involved a Mercedes, a Toyota Prius, and a Ford, leaving all three vehicles severely damaged with debris scattered across the road. Broadway was closed for several hours as crews worked to make the area safe. Several other people were injured, though police haven't said how many or how seriously.
