Three young people have been identified by police after complaints about anti-social behaviour in Greenfield, Saddleworth Independent reports. Greater Manchester Police received reports of incidents around Wellington Road, including the Tesco car park and main entrance.

Police Community Support Officer Wayne Turley said information from residents and proactive patrols helped officers identify two youths, while a third was stopped and searched and found with fireworks. He said: "Appropriate action is being taken."

Police have not disclosed the ages of those involved or what action will follow. PCSO Turley said regular patrols would continue and thanked residents who came forward.
