The Spindles celebrates five retail investments as £450million town centre programme continues
The Spindles in Oldham celebrates five retail investments, including two new stores and three refurbishments, boosting town centre momentum.

The Spindles shopping centre in Oldham is celebrating five retail investments, with two new stores opening and three existing shops completing major refurbishments.
Cards Direct and North West have joined the centre, while H. Samuel, Daniel Christian Menswear and Lloyds Bank have all finished refurbishment work on their existing stores.
The investments come as part of a £450million town centre investment, which includes a recently opened market that has helped increase footfall at The Spindles.
James Kington, director of growth, said the five investments showed retailer confidence in the centre and the wider town. He said the market had created momentum and businesses were responding by improving their offer.
Cards Direct has opened its 93rd store in Oldham. James Monte, who opened the store, said the centre offered a strong retail environment and a growing customer base, and it was the right time to establish a presence.
H. Samuel's Oldham store is part of a multimillion-pound investment programme by its parent company, Signet Jewelers UK and Ireland. Store manager Carla Ramsey said shoppers were welcome to the new-look store.
Neil Old, managing director of Signet Jewelers UK and Ireland, said the investment showed the company's commitment to local high streets and shopping centres, and hoped the refurbished stores would be welcomed by shoppers.
Dan Keogh of Daniel Christian Menswear said the refurbishment would create a better experience for customers and showed a long-term commitment to the centre and Oldham.
