Money raised at this year's Scouthead and Austerlands Village Fete is being shared between four good causes.

The fete was held at Dawson's Field in Scouthead on Saturday, August 8, from 11am until 3pm. The Scouthead and Austerlands Community Group (SACG) said its committee had decided how to pass on the proceeds.

Oldham Mountain Rescue Team will receive £200, with Our Community Wardrobe receiving the same amount. Springhead Congregational Church will receive £50, as will Guide Dogs for the Blind.

A spokesperson for SACG said: "A massive thank you goes out to every volunteer, stallholder, and resident who helped make the day such an overwhelming success."
