Police in Oldham have issued a dispersal order in Failsworth following a series of incidents involving anti-social behaviour. The order, which came into effect on Friday 10 April, is aimed at addressing concerns raised by residents and local businesses in the area.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that the Section 35 dispersal order covers a defined zone in Failsworth, including the Partington Street area. The restricted boundaries extend along Lord Lane between Ashton Road West and Brierley Avenue, Brierley Avenue between Lord Lane and Ashton Road East, and Ashton Road East linking back towards Ashton Road West. This move gives officers the authority to require individuals to leave the area and not return for a specified period, with failure to comply potentially leading to arrest.
