Oldham specialist school founder completes Ironman 70.3 Türkiye in under six hours
Callum Siddall, founder of Oldham specialist school Chances Mentoring, completed Ironman 70.3 Türkiye in under six hours to challenge ADHD stigma.
Callum Siddall, founder of the Chances Mentoring specialist school in Chadderton, finished Turkey's Ironman 70.3 in Belek, Antalya, on November 1, Saddleworth Independent reports. He completed the swim, bike and run legs, covering 1.9km, 90km and 21.1km, in just under six hours, at the close of ADHD Awareness Month.
Chances Mentoring, founded in 2022, is an independent specialist school and alternative provision for young people who have struggled in mainstream education, and was praised by Ofsted for its inclusion. Mr Siddall, who has ADHD, said: "ADHD comes with real strengths." He hopes the finish shows pupils what is possible with the right support.
