A needle felting workshop in Uppermill will teach participants to make miniature watermelon brooches, earrings or necklaces while raising funds for Palestinian women's education.

Organised by the Saddleworth Palestine Women's Scholarship Fund, the event takes place on Saturday, September 5 from 11am to 1pm at Uppermill Methodist Church Hall. All proceeds will help Palestinian women access education.

The minimum age for attendees is 10 years. There are 20 places available and advance booking is required.

Tickets cost £10 for youth aged 10 to 18, who must be accompanied by an adult, £15 for adults, or £20 for a solidarity ticket. Refreshments are included.
