The National Methodist Youth Brass Band is set to return to Uppermill this Whit Friday, bringing their energy and musical excellence to the Saddleworth village for the first time since 2013. The band, comprising talented young musicians aged 12 to their early twenties, will perform a free family concert at Uppermill Methodist Church on Friday, May 29, at 7.30pm.

Organisers are delighted to welcome them back, promising an evening of modern brass music suitable for all ages. The programme will showcase the exciting and contemporary side of brass band music.

In addition to the concert, members of the National Methodist Youth Brass Band will join Uppermill Band on the Whit Friday Walks and contests later that day.

The following day, Sunday, May 31, they will lead and contribute to a special service at Uppermill Methodist Church in the morning. The service is open to everyone, offering another opportunity to enjoy the band's music and celebrate the Whit weekend together.
