Families in Grotton are invited to celebrate the reopening of their local playground on Station Road, following a series of improvements and new additions.

The Grotton Residents Association will officially reopen the playground with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 2pm on Saturday, August 15.

Visitors will be able to see new features including colourful animal graphics, hopscotch markings, a snakes and ladders game and a brand-new inclusive seesaw designed to make the play area accessible to more children.

Bubbles, refreshments and family-friendly activities are planned throughout the afternoon. Residents, friends, neighbours and local councillors are all being encouraged to attend as the improved facility is officially unveiled.

The reopening is described as the latest investment in community facilities in the village and aims to provide an enhanced play space for local children and families to enjoy for years to come.
