Four people charged with arson after Dovestone Reservoir wildfire on July 11 2026; bailed to court 25/02/2027.

Four people have been charged with arson following a wildfire at Dovestone Reservoir.
Tyler Warburton and Tom Wilde, both 18, have been charged with arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered. Wilde has also been charged with possession of class B.
Jake Eyre, 19, and Lyreec Bryan-Gavin, 22, have also been charged with arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered. Eyre was further charged with possession of class B (cannabis).
The charges relate to a wildfire at Dovestone Reservoir on Saturday, July 11 2026. Officers are continuing to pursue a number of lines of enquiry and are seeking to identify any other individuals who may have been involved.
All four have been bailed and are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on 25/02/2027.
