Dobcross damaged red phone box replaced with brand new one
Dobcross's damaged red phone box has been replaced, restoring the landmark and enabling the community defibrillator to return once power is reconnected.

A damaged red telephone box in Dobcross has been replaced with a new one, restoring a well-known village landmark.
The box keeps a part of the village's heritage in place and gives residents and visitors an attractive feature to look at.
Once ENWL has reconnected the power, the community will be able to reinstall its defibrillator. The life-saving equipment will then be available 24 hours a day, so emergency help is close at hand if it is ever needed.
Saddleworth Parish Council said the installation showed its commitment to preserving local character and supporting community wellbeing. It thanked everyone involved in making the project possible.
