In My Shoes Theatre Group, a disability-led company for young adults aged 18 and over, has marked its fifth birthday, Saddleworth Independent reports. Launched by Emily Skeldon, the group meets weekly at Springhead Congregational Church and now performs around the community and beyond.

Members marked the milestone at the church with a special event and a numbered cake made by church member Gill, who has baked one for the group each year.

Skeldon said: "I am incredibly proud of our artists and everything we have achieved together."
