A women-only strength training studio in Delph has been thrust into the national spotlight after appearing on Good Morning Britain last week. Evolve Fitness, which opened its doors in March 2024, was featured in a segment exploring the life-changing health benefits of strength training — shining a light on both the physical and emotional transformations experienced by its members.

The segment included interviews with founder and personal trainer Danielle Sadler, alongside several Evolve Fitness members who spoke candidly about how the studio has boosted their confidence, health and everyday lives. For Danielle, appearing on the ITV programme was a proud moment for her young business. “It was an incredible opportunity to showcase not only the importance of strength training but also the supportive community we have built at Evolve Fitness,” she said.

At just 31, Danielle has already achieved a lifelong ambition. She dreamed of becoming a personal trainer from the age of 13, qualified five years ago, and has now been a gym owner for more than two years. Evolve Fitness officially launched in March 2024 with a clear mission: to break down the barriers many women face when joining a gym. The studio was designed to be a welcoming, non‑intimidating space where women of all ages, abilities and experience levels can feel comfortable, confident and supported.

Evolve Fitness offers a wide range of services including one‑to‑one personal training, group personal training, and inclusive strength and fitness classes suitable for complete beginners through to advanced members. Specialist programmes include The Mama’s & Baba’s Club, which supports pre‑ and post‑natal women, and The Strong Girls Club, which empowers girls aged 11–16 to build strength, confidence and a positive relationship with exercise.

During the Good Morning Britain visit, the feature highlighted compelling research showing that regular strength training can improve bone density, boost metabolism, enhance mental wellbeing, and reduce the risk of chronic disease. Members interviewed during the feature spoke openly about the physical and emotional benefits they have experienced, reinforcing the studio’s reputation as a supportive and empowering community hub.

“As a small local business, it was a proud moment to have a national television programme choose our studio to help tell such an important story,” Danielle added. Evolve Fitness continues to champion accessible, confidence‑building fitness for women and girls across Saddleworth and the wider Oldham borough, proving that strength training is for everyone — regardless of age or experience.
