A man was seen setting a car on fire in Chadderton, Oldham, in what police are treating as a targeted attack. The incident happened at about 7.30am on Tuesday (July 28) on Agnes Street.

The fire damaged the vehicle and two other cars parked nearby. No injuries were reported.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) is investigating the incident as arson with intent to endanger life. Officers believe it was a targeted incident and say there is no wider risk to the public.
