Air ambulance lands at Chatsworth Street Salvation Army church in Oldham

An air ambulance has landed on the grounds of the Salvation Army church on Chatsworth Street, Oldham, at approximately 13:16 this afternoon, Sunday 14 June 2026.

Footage from the scene shows the helicopter on the church grounds as emergency services responded to an incident in the area. The reason for the air ambulance deployment has not yet been confirmed.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing the helicopter descend shortly after 13:00, with the aircraft on the ground for a sustained period as the on-scene response continued.

The Salvation Army church sits on Chatsworth Street in a residential part of the Chadderton area of Oldham, and its grounds have been used as a landing site for air ambulances in the past when nearby streets have not provided a clear enough space.
